Virat Kohli is known as the King or Ruler of Cricket for his tremendous amount of effort in the field. 

Virat Kohli has scored 12344 runs in ODI,4008 runs in T20, and 8074 runs in Test. 

Virat has scored 43 centuries in ODI, 1 in T20, and 27 in Test.

Virat has played 26 matches at ICC World Cups in which Virat has scored 1030 which includes 2 centuries and 6 half-centuries.

Virat’s average run rate is 46.81.

 All of these achievements are one side of the coin. But most people don’t know the other side of the coin which includes harsh struggle and deadly hard work.

As Virat doesn’t belong to a cricket-family background his father was a criminal lawyer and his mother a housemaker.

Virat once told in an interview that when he asked his coach how can I succeed his dream that his coach replied you have to show unique and siding performance if his competitor scored 100 runs then you have to score 200. 

It was the turning point for Virat as after this he did exactly the same but this required lot of hard work and dedication.

Virat on the other hand was full of dedication a person can understand his level of dedication after completing his father’s funeral rituals he scored a century for the Ranji Trophy.

Virat Kohli was born on 5 November 1988, in a Punjabi family in Delhi. Virat is the youngest child in his family he has two siblings elder sister Bhawna Kohli Dhingra and elder brother Vikas Kohli he got married on 11 December 2017 to famous Indian actress Anushka Sharma and the couple became parents on 11 January 2021 a daughter named Vamika Kholi.

Virat  first ODI match was played against Sri Lanka on 18 August 2008 and his last ODI was played against England on 17 July  2022.

Virat has won the Man of the Tournament of  ICC World Twenty 20 for two times in 2014 & 2016.
